About Us

North Kohala Region

Hawaiʻi Island is a utopia of splendor with rocky coastlines, green, black, and sugar sand beaches, rain forests, breath-taking volcanoes and majestic mountains.  Nestled in North Kohala are the small historical villages of Hawi and Kapa'au.  Beneath the simple and charming exterior of these former sugar plantation towns lies a deep and rich history of pioneers, leaders, luminaries, and enlightened individuals that have called this region home, including King Kamehameha himself.

Design and Amenities

Hale Hihimanu is named for the Spotted Eagle Ray (Hihimanu) as its design resembles the shape of this majestic "Guardian of the Reef".  Relax in comfort in our luxurious dual master suite retreat.  With stunning unobstructed views of the Maui Channel, the gentle trade winds on your private lanai beckon you to unwind and appreciate the magic of the a'ina and the here and now.
